Shonnah is a miracle worker! We adopted a puppy without knowing she’s part cattle dog, Australian shepherd, and border collie (read: CRAZY!). We were getting nowhere training her at home but after three weeks of boarding with Shonnah, we can walk her on a leash, she has stellar recall, she knows how to be calm and neutral, she can be peaceful and friendly around kids and other dogs, and she’s stopped stressing and being fearful of everything. She’s a totally different puppy and infinitely happier! We can bond and communicate with her so much more effectively now and we have a solid foundation for many happy years ahead of us all thanks to Shonnah! We got daily updates which helped immensely with our time apart. We never wondered for even a second if she was happy with Shonnah because we could tell from the photos and videos that she was having a blast and enjoying her training. I can’t recommend Shonnah and Ridgeside enough! Absolutely worth every penny and the time apart. We’re endlessly grateful!!

Cori has been amazing! When she took Sebastian, my 7 1/2 month old GSD, he had entered his “teen” years and was refusing to behave. Now just 2 weeks later I have a dog who can focus on what he needs to be doing and enjoys himself doing it. Sebastian now has manners. He doesn’t jump on me or other people, he waits until told to leave or enter the house and best of all he walks with me like a perfect gentleman. I was sent daily update, pictures and videos so I always knew what he was doing and learning. Those updates were invaluable to me. The energy, positivity plus the love Cori has for animals is quite extraordinary! I would highly recommend Ridgeside K9 to anyone seeking high quality training.

Cori was the trainer assigned to me and my pup, Milo, and she absolutely exceeded my expectations. Throughout the training, she communicated clearly and consistently, making me feel completely at ease. She did a fantastic job setting realistic expectations, offering detailed instructions, and sharing valuable insights. It’s been about a month since he’s completed training and things are going well. I also appreciate that she provides monthly weekend sessions and remains available for any questions. Highly recommend!

Just picked up our GSP from his 3 week BnT, Could not be any happier with the way Peja took care of our sweet Remy. Setup with Tara was very simple and they were able to get him on their schedule fast. We received daily updates with pictures and videos of his progress. She was able to incorporate things he loves (bike rides) into his training and exercise, get his basics established, and set us on a good route for success. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing training and will continue to use them for all of our training needs. Can’t wait to attend some group classes soon!!!

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Ridgeside K9 Summerville! I enrolled my dog, River, in the 3-week Board and Train program, and the results are truly life-changing for me. My trainer, Shonna, is absolutely phenomenal. She is highly professional, incredibly patient, and clearly has a profound understanding of dog behavior. Before the program, River struggled with selective hearing, and general excitement/reactivity. Now, he holds a reliable place command even with distractions, and listens consistently the first time. Shonna not only trained River, but she also trained me. The detailed instruction during the go-home session and the follow-up support have been invaluable, ensuring I can maintain these high standards at home. I feel so much more confident with River both at home and out in public when we go to a restaurant, shopping and or sporting events.
