We got this beautiful shepherd at 4 months old. He was very nervous of everyone and everything. He would bark and growl at anything he wasn't sure of and other behaviors that slowly got worse. We realized quickly we needed help. I looked everywhere for a dog trainer, didn't hear back from people and so on until I saw the reviews for Jeff and his team. I knew to let the dog decide if he liked the trainer and the second jeff walked in our dog was better than how he normally acted. Below of him loving on Jeff just wouldn't have happened without Jeff's help. I recommend Ridgeside K9 Nashville to everyone with dog issues.

Jeff is AMAZING!!! A true miracle worker. You can just tell he loves what he does and has such a passion for his work and the dogs. Jeff picked up our shy, timid boy and spent so much time and patience with him. We now have a brave, confident, good boy who listens so well! He can be off leash and comes when called among so many other things! We are so thankful for Jeff and all he’s done for us and our boy! He went above and beyond and it’s evident in the results! Jeff is simply fantastic. We rescued a heeler / border collie mix that started showing some fear-based aggression and resource guarding around 11 months. Jeff and his team were very helpful upfront and clearly explained the process. I was a little nervous but we’ve had Charlie back for nearly two weeks and it’s a night and day difference. At one point we were considering whether he’d need to be re-homed (kid safety concerns) but the concerning behaviors seem to be completely resolved. At the beginning I didn’t realize Jeff wasn’t just training specific behaviors (recall, heeling) or doing conditioning around resource guarding, he trained Charlie (and more importantly us) how to stop basically any unwanted behavior. It has been so much more practical and useful than I ever imagined. Most importantly, Jeff was extremely patient with Charlie (who was terrified of strangers), provided great communication and we always felt like Charlie was completely safe and well-cared for. We’ll be taking him back for boarding and more training the next time we go out of town. Truly can’t say enough good things about Jeff. We are so thankful.
