Jeff & Nikki S. We were hesitant to send our 8 month old puppy Mousse to a board and train facility. It was like sending your child to a boarding school you knew nothing about. Having said that, Jeff and Ridgeside K9 Nashville far exceeded our expectations! Jeff checked in with us daily and sent pictures and videos of what Mousse was learning. It was crystal clear seeing the expressions on her face that she was happy. Jeff and Judy were always available to answer any questions we had. When Jeff brought Mousse home he spent 2 1/2 hours training us on how to use the E collar and showing us what she learned. She now has the foundation and it’s up to us to continue to enforce it. It was very obvious Mousse loved Jeff and she was loved! As you know dogs don’t lie! We would very highly recommend Jeff and Ridgeside K9 Nashville! We are so very thankful and appreciative!

Jeff at Ridgeside K9 Nashville is absolutely AMAZING! My golden retriever is a little over a year, and I have been trying to get a grip on her and her stubbornness for a long time. I could not get her to walk properly on a leash, or keep her focus on me in any situation. It sounds funny but I seriously thought “wow, my dog is not trainable!” I did tons of research to find a trainer for her but nothing felt right. Reviews were iffy, and it seemed like everyone I called just wanted to make a quick buck. As soon as I found Ridgeside K9 every review I read was positive. I decided to make yet another phone call and was given all of the information up front and he even scheduled a house visit to meet me and my pup. He told me he could help millie in his 2 week program and not once did I feel like he wanted my money over everything else. I was sent daily updates, and when a surprise vet visit needed to be made he kept me up to date during the whole process. Now fast forward, my pup is home and might I say TRAINED! She is walking on a leash, staying by my side, listening to commands, and so much more. I never leave reviews but here I am leaving a whole book. If you are looking for a trainer… trust me you’ve found him! RSk9 Nashville is worth your time, money, and will have your pups best interest in mind at all times!

We needed help with our new puppy, Lucy, and Jeff at Ridgeside K9 Nashville was the answer! We were so happy with all she learned at the 10-day Foundational Puppy Training and look forward to her completing the 2 week adult training. Jeff was not only a great trainer for our puppy, but also spent a lot of time teaching us how to continue her training. I highly recommend Jeff and Ridgeside K9! UPDATE - Lucy returned for her 2 week training. I have to admit, I was a little nervous about the e-collar training. I have a friend who had a terrible experience with another trainer. But e-collar training with an expert and loving trainer like Jeff makes all the difference. Lucy is still energetic and happy, but is now responsive and obedient. Jeff helped Lucy become the dog of our dreams. I couldn’t recommend Jeff and Ridgeside K9 training more highly.

I have a fear aggressive pup. I was unable to have guest over due to worry of her biting someone, I couldn’t take her on walks for more than a few minutes because she pulled so much. I felt so bad because she was scared of everything and I felt that I couldn’t help her. After getting her back from training she can walk on a leash around my apartment complex with ease, I’m also at ease knowing I can now take her outside and we’re both able to enjoy our walk with or without people around. Prior to the past 3 weeks I could never think about taking her to a store, now she’s walking around Lowe’s! I would highly recommended Jeff! I know that if I ever have questions or need help with my pup I can count on him and ridgeside K9!

Ridgeside K9 Nashville is an amazing place to have your dog trained! We have a young, feisty golden doodle that has a wonderful temperament but honestly was a “hot mess” in terms of manners, understanding commands, and potty training challenges. I called all over town and spoke with many training options. Judy at Ridgeside was amazing and helped me identify the right plan for our sweet Oatmeal. We were nervous about having her gone for 2 weeks as we had not had her ourselves for very long. Oatmeal loved Jeff and he communicated with us every single day! We were able to watch her progress through pictures and videos and also saw her having a blast while learning new things. My family has some special needs which I communicated to Jeff prior to him bringing Oatmeal home after training. Jeff brought Oatmeal to our house and took great care to make sure all of us understood the commands and how to better communicate with our sweet pup! It was amazing to see the progress she had made in two weeks! We also felt empowered to keep up her training due to Jeff’s calm and patient approach in teaching us as well as Oatmeal. He taught us it is all about communication and while we are all still learning, I feel so much better about the process and I know we have continued support from both Judy and Jeff. They both checked on us after our first night using the new tools! To have been very overwhelmed when we first brought Oatmeal home to now is a night and day difference and I would highly recommend Ridgeside K9 Nashville to anyone seeking not only training for your dog but people that truly make a connection with your pet!
