Ridgeside K9 Nashville

I adopted Lucy from animal control with no information about her past. I live in a busy area of town and within 2 weeks, she was scared of every noise outside. I do not have a backyard, so leash walking is my only option. Lucy would lay down on the sidewalk too scared to move or she would try to run under parked vehicles. On some occasions, I had to carry her home. I called several trainers, and I was most impressed with Ridgeside K9. I received a call almost immediately and Judy explained the process in great detail. Jeff was the only trainer that I called who offered to meet Lucy. The second I saw how Lucy interacted with Jeff, I knew he was the right one to train her. Jeff sent daily pictures and videos of her progress. Lucy is back home from training and she is doing so well! She knows basic commands and loves her daily walks. No more carrying her back home! 🙌 I could not be happier! I highly recommend Jeff at Ridgeside K9 Nashville!!!

We recently got our girl Millie back from a 2-week board and train with Jeff, and we are completely blown away. We’ve worked with other trainers in the past with little success—only to end up with a prescription for Prozac. Millie used to be difficult on leash and reactive toward people and dogs. Under Jeff’s care, she’s truly a different dog: well-behaved, confident, and happy. Also now unmedicated! We are able to enjoy walking her again and have way more peace of mind. During her stay, Jeff sent us daily updates. We really appreciated the work/play balance. We were honestly a little nervous she may not want to come home she looked so happy in the pictures! At the end of training, Jeff took the time to walk us through everything she learned, and made sure we felt prepared and confident to continue the work at home. We’re so excited to join their pack walks in the future. If you’re on the fence about this program—don’t be. It’s been the absolute best investment for us and our dog.

John with Ridgeside K9 was amazing with our boy Knox! He learned so much at the 10-day Foundational Puppy Training and just completed the 2 week adult training. John was a great trainer for our puppy and spent time with us teaching us how to continue his training with the e-collar. He gave us great pics and updates while our boy was with him. John helped Knox so much and was the perfect trainer for him. We appreciate him and all he did for Knox and us! I highly recommend Ridgeside K9!
