Ridgeside K9 Central Florida

A little background to preface my review: We have had our Doberman, Declan, for a year. He is a 5 year old rescue who came to us with essentially ZERO manners, anxiety, and a strong prey drive that made life with house cats quite interesting. We tried another local trainer upon his adoption and were able to improve very basic manners and commands, but needed more. We have only had Declan home from his first board and train with Ridgeside K9 for a few days, and the difference is absolutely remarkable. He is still himself, a lovable goofy goober, but at the same time he is a completely different dog. He knows when it’s time to play and when it’s time to dial in. Most importantly, he is leaving the cats alone after only one initial correction. I cannot stress how incredible that is for him because we thought it would never happen. Amado was Declan’s trainer and he gave us the guidance we need to continue training at home and made us feel absolutely confident in Declan, as well as in ourselves. It is obvious that Amado truly loves what he does. We know this from not only in the progress we saw with Declan, but the connection Amado had with him. Truly could not be happier with our experience and look forward to a lifelong relationship with Ridgeside K9!

We recently brought our Doberman home after training, and the difference has been incredible. The level of professionalism, care, and genuine dedication really stood out throughout the entire process. What we have now is a confident, responsive companion instead of the uncertainty we were dealing with before. We thought we’d have to keep him separated from our cats for the rest of our lives which caused significant logistical stress; that’s not the case anymore! The guidance we received for continuing structure and consistency at home has been just as valuable as the training itself, it’s clear they care about long-term success, not just short-term results. In short, when you know exactly what to do you eliminate all the stress. The stress is replaced by fun, accomplishment and joy. Amado was our trainer, and his passion for what he does shows in every interaction. He took the time to understand our dog and our family, and it made all the difference. We’re extremely grateful for the experience and couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Hi! I am a 64 year old meme! I have 3 Grandsons and 1 Granddaughter. Who Absolutely Loves my Bella! Bella is a 2 year old Cain Corsa mixed! Know as a Bully! She is far from a Bully! Her Love and dedication to me is Absolutely amazing! I look in her eyes and see how much she Loves and wants to protect me! I have been a manufacturer engineer for over 18 years and a nurse for way over 20 plus years… Bella is by my side, all day when I am off and all night! She knows my every needs! Bella is a very strong and powerful baby! I wanted to get her trained to be by my side for my weakness and strength. The connection I have with her is Absolutely Amazing! I look into her eyes and to me she is almost Human! If you know, you know! My Amazing work Friend Who also loves her Baby! Suggested to get my Bella trained! So I contacted Ridge K-9 trining. To start my Journey on training not only Bella but me as well! Kendall (our trainer) entered our life, with Love and Support for Bella and me! Her love for Bullies and education is Amazing! My main concern was when I returned from work, Bella would be so excited to see me! She jumped and kissed me with all her Love and enthusiasm! But I am 125 lbs and she could knock me over in a heartbeat without knowing the damage to my fragile 64 old body. I truly didn’t know what to do? Thank God for Angels! My first lesson with Kendal was to help correct this behavior. Dog phycology and human physiology are both Amazing! I was completely off! Kendal helped me through the process! I am Proud to say that through not only my first training session Bella has not only stopped jumping on me when I return home! But stands by my side to protect and Love Me!

My dog Marty is a night and day difference after taking him to Ridgeside K9! Kendall did such an amazing job training Marty and getting him to understand what we expect from him. Marty had no manners before going to Kendall, and now he is a gentleman. He doesn’t pull on his leash anymore, and he can sit/down for an extended period of time with me walking away. Before, i couldn’t walk 5 steps without him following me. He is also comfortable being in his kennel which is amazing!! I am so grateful for the time they put into training Marty, i would 10/10 recommend going to them!!
