My husband and I rescued a 1yr old American Stafford mix from an animal shelter. We were provided limited information on his background but believed he had never been properly trained and wanted to get him into some training and have him evaluated so we could do the best we could for him. After looking into our options, we decided to hire Hannah Mahoney with Red Lantern Dog Training. Our expectations were beyond exceeded! Hannah is very knowledgeable, patient and went beyond training our dog but training us to be good dog owners. A lot of fears we had with rescuing and not knowing the background was put at ease. She took the time to write us a weekly training schedule that we could implement and reference and she reassured that as long as we kept to the actions he would learn and be trained. Today we have a very good, well trained, slightly spoiled boy that has brought so much joy to our lives. We give Hannah so much accreditation for providing us with the tools we needed, the knowledge and the patience to help our boy have the best life. We highly recommend her to train any dog.
