Red Beard Dog Training

I’ve been following Red Beard on Instagram for a couple of years and we took our Buddy there but he would not eat so we had to bring him home. He has a lot of anxiety as he is a rescue dog. Then we adopted our second pit Nilla. We knew soon that we needed their help. Nilla was just over reactive to everything and had a tractor mode when on leash. She is a different dog now! We are amazed at how she has changed. We walk her and she doesn’t react to other dogs or people and obeys our commands. Highly recommend the crew at Red Beard 🥰

We sent our 8 month yellow lab Knox for the 2 week board and train. Could not be happier with our dog and the service and care given to him. I would highly recommend this anyone that has a dog. The amount of joy and happiness you can have with your well trained dog after this training is night and day. Now my two young daughters can walk him instead of him walking them. Also by teaching him "place", our guess are not being knocked down as they enter the door. We will be customers from here on out.

I found Red Beard when I was in a place of total desperation; my GSD mix was nipping people I invited into my home. I'd never had a working breed before, and I was afraid I'd have to give Radar up. 3 weeks of Board and Train with Brad & Haley and he was toeing the line. They taught ME how to work with and advocate for my dog. Radar gained confidence and (just as important) I've gained confidence in working with my dog. He's always been an amazing family dog, but now we know how to work together to keep everyone safe and happy. I will forever be grateful. When I adopted my pit bull, Arnie, last Fall my husband and I knew that training was essential. Red Beard is the best. They've grown since we first met them, but their growing staff is amazing. Nothing but good things to say. I sing their praises wherever I go and I will never own another dog without investing in training. Happy dogs, happy owners!

Dropped our Ollie off for 3 weeks of board and train with many issues, including human aggression. He’s a classic pandemic puppy who was never properly socialized mixed with a little poor breeding and he was a handful to say the least. We went back for a lesson at the two week mark and when we picked him up after the third week he was like a new dog. He not only listens to the basics better now but is able to cope with seeing strangers. We go on long walks and he’s not pulling, he’s easily recalled from running up and down the fence with the neighbors dogs, and he doesn’t bark at every sound of people he hears while outside. Cannot say enough good things about our experience here and would recommend board and train or even just lessons for anyone with a dog. Even if you think your dog is a lost cause (we were told by other trainers that there was no hope).
