Do not take your dog here for bitework. Danny waited 3 weeks to tell me my dog isn’t cut out for bitework then charged me full price! When I called around to get prices the others did an assessment before accepting them for bitework training. I should have went with the others. I do not have the wrong place. House with a basement you do training in and keep dogs kennels in the garage. And it’s not your first complaint you literally told me about another lady complaining you couldn’t get her dog to do bitework either.

He’s the best - but you have to take responsibility for your part in your dog’s success long term, and realize what you’re doing to contribute to the issues you’re asking Danny to address. Then you need to commit to your dog that you’ll continue to reinforce what Danny accomplishes and leave your ego at the door. He’s the only one I trust to work with my dog and I drive 4 hours one way for boarding and training as needed.

Danny has been fantastic with our dogs. He helped to build the foundation for my husbands first working dog since he was a puppy, as well as started to work out kinks with our other older dog (protection work). Every dog I have seen being trained through him has been outstanding, especially if they started as pups. He is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated, and won’t give up on you or your dog if you’re willing to put the time in. From basic obedience to protection work, I would recommend him to absolutely anyone. All of the help he gives is well worth the drive. The only person I trust with any of my dogs.

Dan and his team are incredible! We did the four week board and train with our golden doodle Oakley over the summer and were so happy with how our girl came back. You can tell Dan cares about the pups his has in his care. He was extremely responsive anytime I asked for updates and how her day was. He sent pictures and videos of her progress and answered questions after we picked her back up. She knew all the commands he worked on so well and they have stuck. Additionally we did boarding and did the refresher course when we went on vacation this month. It went great again. We had updates like before and our girl came back knowing two more things. If you need boarding and training I cannot recommend Recon K9 enough. We will forever be customers for all the pups we have.
