Family owned. I’m glad I took my dog to Christian. I’ve worked with 5 other trainers and there were little help with my dogs bad habits. I took my 2 year old German shepherd and my 4 year old Labrador for a 2 month board and train and my dog was trained way beyond my expectations. I know he connected with my dogs and came back to me in a new light. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants their dogs to be treated with love and kindness

Christian did an outstanding job with our Australian Cattle Dog Ruger. We started coming to him for one-on-one training at his house to help work out some of Ruger’s reactiveness towards other dogs that had gotten pretty bad after his back to back ACL surgeries and the activity restrictions that were put on him due to his rehab. After a few sessions we then went to his class at TSC in Greenville to work with more dogs in a public environment. He did well there but he relied too heavily on mom, so we did a 10 day board and train to get him out of his safety zone and into a world of more dogs than he knew what to do with. Christian worked with him for the 10 days and we’ve seen a huge change in Ruger’s behavior. He has gone from lashing out at any dog that he came in contact with to being pretty calm when approached by another. When we first brought him he started with a muzzle and always being leashed, to no muzzle and no leash even when meeting new dogs. I think one of the best things that he has done in Ruger’s training was to find what worked for him, and not expect for the dog to bend to the training method chosen by the trainer – he took the time to work with him to find out what method was the best. We have worked with trainers in the past that had their “system” that they used and expected every dog to follow it – that just hasn’t worked for our dogs. The time away was a very good thing, Christian was able to make leaps and bounds in progress with his training and provide an environment to do so that we just could not. Our biggest challenge was exposing him to other dogs and it is just not conducive to training to do so in public with strangers. Christian stayed in contact with us throughout the entire board and train, sent us updates and kept us in the loop with how Ruger was progressing. It really seemed that Christian took a personal interest in making sure that Ruger was a success story and he was not going to fail him. Because of the successes we’ve had with Christian and his methods it has given us humans the confidence in extending our fur-family by adding another puppy – which will be starting his training career with Christian. I would highly recommend that anyone who is looking for a qualified dog trainer that takes a personal interest in their pet to look at Real World K9 - we could not be happier with Christian or the training we received.
