About Real Life K9
We train pets and working dogs here. We are a family of dog trainers, led by Jody Johnson, certified and licensed trainer. Your dog lives with us during most training programs we offer. We also offer private session packages. We work with all breeds to solve obedience and behavioral issues. We also offer training and sales of executive protection dogs, as well as service dogs. In addition, we train scent detection and tracking dogs. One of our stand-out benefits is we spend the time to teach you how to maintain the training and even further it. We work for you!

We have a German Shorthaired Pointer, named Izzy and we love her, but we had shopped around looking for some training programs. We came across Real Life K9 and decided to go with them after some others had recommended them. We couldn't have made a better decision. These people were just nothing short of amazing people, they honestly I think did much more for our girl than what we paid. She came home a totally different girl in the best way. They worked with us on how to continue the training, broke everything down, we got updates during the training period, they stayed in touch the whole time and even after the fact. We love our Izzy girl but she was pretty wild before, and she has her moments but she listens when we tell her to cool it. I've never had a "trained" dog, I'll never be without that resource again. Rose and Jody are 10/10 people that do 10/10 work. If you are looking for a wonderful training center that will absolutely give you the most for your money and also care about your dog while they're there these people are the people to talk to. I just literally can't say enough good things or praise them enough for shaping our girl into the wonderful girl she is.
I spoke with the owner on the phone, he was extremely detailed with the description of their program. It sounds like an excellent facility and an expert training program. Unfortunately I wasn't able to afford the program, but if I had a choice it would be this place.

She is much calmer and actually listens. While only 4 months she is totally intune to me. She previously dragged me when we walked and was all over and out of control. She bit me constantly. Now she is the loving non biting sweet girl I envisioned.

We took our 1 year old Catahula, Roscoe, to real life K9. This was the best decision we could have made! It started from the first phone call I made and the owner: Jody talked to me for a half hour or more. I was kind of apprehensive about dropping Roscoe, off and leaving him, but everything is structured from the time you drop your fur baby to the time you pick them up. Rose, was great! She sent regular messages and photos letting us know how Roscoe was doing. Real life K9 not only did a great job training our dog, but they trained myself, my husband, and my son so we all know how to better communicate with our dog. He is a work in progress and we know if we have any questions or concerns Real Life K9 is always available! Thank you!!!
