FirstBarkI just came in from taking my aussiedoodle on a walk and playing outside off leash! That could have never happened a few weeks ago. Misti taught us how to implement new skills each week. We followed the homework we were given consistently. And now, a few weeks later, we have a much better behaved dog who can have more freedom and a better quality of life!

I've had Australian Shepherds for 25 years and always they have been well behaved and easy to train. But...my youngest has been harder for me to figure out than any other. He's been to a number of trainers and they all helped him and me to be better together. But, by far the best of the bunch to get right to the core of my issues with my boy was Ready Set Sit! Misti was able to pinpoint my biggest mistakes (in consistency, tone, and more) and helped me to get my boy on a happier path. Looking forward to doing more with outdoor fun and games in the future! Highly recommend private lessons here! Ready Set Sit knows dogs (and people) and helps navigate interspecies communication issues to create success!

I brought my 7 year old pound puppy to Ready, Set, Sit. We both needed some training so we could go places and feel confident in handling other dogs and distractions. I was surprised early on at how well she was doing with the focused directions. At the end of our training I’m thrilled at my dogs growth & mine. I feel more at ease taking her anywhere with & confident that she can handle it. Josh was great to work with; very patient and encouraging. I would recommend this to any dog owner, both to brush up on obedience, and to have a better relationship with their dog through understanding and building trust. Thanks Ready, Set, Sit!!

We started training with Misti a couple of months ago after adopting my first rescue dog, Cowboy. He had many issues that I was not prepared to deal with myself so I sought help with them. Fast forward about two months and my boy is happy, confident and obedient. I also am much more confident in my abilities as a dog owner. They have helped us tremendously and I highly recommend their services. I’m very glad I found Ready, Set, Sit!

Gatlynne (my grand daughter) Sadie ( the dog) and I started this journey in hopes of building a better bond between Gatlynne and Sadie. Sadie was high strung and annoying. Misti started us off and helped us understand why dogs do what they do, then Josh worked with us and explained to us and demonstrated how to correct and praise Sadie in order for her to be obedient. I am so thankful that Josh took the time to build Gatlynne’s confidence in training her dog. When we had questions we would send and email and they would respond back and when a phone call was needed we got one. Would recommend Ready Set Sit 10/10
