Rapid Results Dog Training

I have had 2 great experiences with Ron. His combination of reward with correction is perfect and the dogs have freedoms that they would not have had otherwise. My first training experience with Ron was with my 100 pound, 2 ½ year old lab, Hustler. By the time I decided to work with Ron, I had had multiple trainers, training classes and still issues with Hustler listening. Command and Treat reward did not work with Hustler. He is very singular focused on his wants. He pulled at the leash when walking and made it hard for me to handle. A typical lab, he loves the water and when I would take him swimming, he would drag me to the water to get in. He was extremely hard to handle. I wanted to be able to take him off leash hiking and swimming without any worries. I was certain that 5 lessons would not work. I was wrong. By the 5th lesson, Hustler was off leash, no pulling when on the leash and listened when I took him to the water. Ron’s techniques are great. He would train Hustler, then train me and I would practice between the lessons. It has been over 6 months and it is a joy taking Hustler places because I now have the confidence that he will listen. More recently, I decided to get a rescue dog (Weimer - Pitty mix) as a companion for my lab. Ali came to me at 4 years of age. I asked Ron to assess her with my lab and to help me train her. We decided to do a refresher with Hustler and train Ali off leash and on leash. He also helped to train both dogs on leash when I walk them together. Ali was very difficult on leash because she would try to chase the squirrels, etc. Again, within 5 lessons, she did great off and on leash. Recall with both are excellent. We just came back from a vacation with the dogs at a cottage on the lake with No fence and the lake was accessible from the front yard. NO issues with both dogs. People were staying at the cottage next door. They listened and stayed where they were told. Hustler did NOT go into the lake unless I told him it was ok. The dogs had a great time, and I was so thankful for the training that they received from Ron. Thank you, Ron, for everything. It makes dog ownership a joy. Review by Melanie Campbell

Our dog Holiday was having a lot of trouble keeping her cool on walks when we came across squirrels, other dogs, and even people. She was so thrilled to see them she would keep up a constant stream of barking and lunging to get near enough to sniff and kiss them. We tried many things to get her to behave better in these meetings, but the only thing that worked was Ron’s e-collar training. We were nervous about starting to use it, but Ron was very helpful in teaching us and Holiday how to use it correctly. Now Holiday is so respectful on and off leash, in the neighborhood, and on trails. We would highly recommend Ron’s e-collar training, it was very affordable, and Holiday was a real fan of Ron’s delicious duck jerky treats.

I highly recommend working with Ron at Rapid Results dog training. I have a strong-willed pup, and I enrolled him in two obedience classes, and he did not really listen or learn in the classes. As a last resort I called Ron. After 4 sessions and within 1 month, my dog is now heeling on and off leash, and listening to all of the other commands (sit, down, off, etc.). My dog liked working with Ron and all of the treats and attention he received. 100% pleased with the rapid results I received. If you have a dog that won't listen in a regular class, and is not getting the commands you want him to obey, Ron is the answer. I wish I had found Ron a year ago - better than other obedience classes with the one-on-one attention.

Ron absolutely delivered on his brand promise of rapid results and off leash within five training sessions. We adopted an adult Cane Corso mastiff (Ellie) from Cleveland dog kennels. She was not trained and was pulling us around on leash outside. Ron quickly gained Ellie’s respect. He recommended the right collars, leashes and treats and repeatedly showed us how to use them. Ellie is now well-behaved inside and outside and we are happy and confident, thanks to Ron, that we educated on what and how to practice with Ellie into the future.
