Before coming to Alpha Canine Training Center, Inc. our family’s rescue dog, Kato, was experiencing some behavioral problems that we were very concerned about. We were at a loss at what to do to help him adjust to being in a new home after being adopted from a Memphis shelter and making the transition to living here in Nashville. We wanted to make sure we were doing everything we could to provide him with the best home. I did my research on dog training places and Randy’s place was one of the first ones I was interested in. Randy was very understanding to what our situation was and what we needed from him, and for that we are forever grateful for what the Alpha Canine Training Center and the staff has done for our Kato! When you call him you are not given the generic answers over the phone, he takes his time and throughly addresses all of the our concerns. He shows that he is compassionate and truly cares about helping families and their dogs. When I asked to see the facility, he immediately agreed and took us on a tour of the entire facility. That combined with his experience, reputation, and interest in our problems, sealed the deal. Not only were they professional, but they were also polite and loved our Kato like he was their own. We definitely have noticed a change in behavior and his transition has been going smoothly ever since. If you are looking for a place to help you and your canine friend, this is the ONLY place I would recommend! There is not enough words to express how grateful my family is. Thank you Randy and staff for all you have done.

I’ve had dogs most my life and thought i knew dogs until I fetched my Ellie from Randy’s Four week school. she was a different dog.. calm, focused and incredibly eager to please. Thank you Randy for being so patient and kind while I fumbled through my lessons. I’ve got an old childhood wound that throws me into a fit of self consciousness I can’t seem to shake even at 56. Had to let you know I am doing much better with it today. I can feel The Connection. She is a dream come true thanks to you and Lauren. Never thought I’d have a dog obedient and well tempered enough to do therapy with.. I truly felt like hugging the both of you yesterday. Wished I had. You are kindred souls and you not only make dogs better. You make better humans for the dogs. For anyone on the fence.. If you love your dog , put her/him through Randy’s 4 week program. It will be the best decision you’ve ever made... the bond with your dog becomes so much deeper I never knew what I was missing
