My Bernadoodle and I love everyone at the Randy Hare Alpha Canine Center. They are the nicest people. My pup was 4 months old when I took her to train with them, and although I hear she was stubborn at first, she is able to do all of the training they provided her. It was awesome getting to go three days and us train together, which helped me understand the commands, what she could do, and what she needed when we got home. I 100% recommend this place for dog training and dog parent training!

100% recommend Alpha K-9! Randy Hare and his amazing wife, Lauren, completed training for our second service dog, Ruger, last Friday. Our experience with Alpha K-9 for both of our services dogs was exceptional, professional, and amazing. I’m astounded how Randy integrates the characteristics of not only the breed (we had others tell us Malinois are not well suited for mobility service tasks - because of Randy and Alpha K-9, my dogs were perfectly suited for this work), but he also builds on the unique personality of each animal (Dippy had a hard drive to WORK ALL the time, while Ruger has a huge heart to LOVE and SUPPORT ALL the time)! These animals are perfect for my needs, and the training and continuing support they received was and is exceptional! I will train all of my dogs with Alpha K-9.

We are ecstatic with the results from Randy and his training program. We researched several programs and after an in-depth phone conversation with Randy we signed our puppy up. Our 4.5-month-old English lab was in that challenging puppy stage—biting, jumping, not listening, and constantly testing boundaries. In just 4 weeks, Randy completely transformed him into a calm, obedient dog who actually listens and doesn’t chomp on our limbs! The difference is night and day. What stood out most is how intentional Randy is—he takes the time to truly understand the dog and works with their temperament to get the best results. He didn’t just train Judd—he trained us, too. He made sure we felt confident continuing the training at home, which has made all the difference in keeping the progress going. With over 40 years of experience and ongoing support anytime you need it, Randy genuinely cares about long-term success—not just quick results. He even offers boarding for dogs he’s trained with refresher training as needed, which is such a great option. If you’re dealing with typical puppy behaviors like we were or desire a well-mannered, calm, obedient dog, Randy is absolutely worth it. We’re so glad we did our research and chose him.

Randy’s training is first class. I spoke with several trainers in the Nashville area ranging from franchises to independently owned facilities; none came close to the responsiveness and attention to detail compared to Randy. Another thing I appreciated is there is no noise with various packages and levels of training, nor is the training delegated to more junior staff members. Randy has his one program, that he himself performs with decades of experience. Our golden retriever puppy went at 16 weeks acting very much like a puppy. She came home with a completely different temperament and demeanor. Still a puppy, but the second we go back into obedience exercises she is at attention and on point. She’s not even six months old yet, and she is better behaved than any of my peers 2+ old labs and/or retrievers (some of which also trained locally by other trainers). Can’t say enough positive things. We will be back for boarding and “tune-ups”. Thank you!
