Quinntastic Dog Training

Quinn and his team are the absolute best. I have previously sent my daughters' dogs for training and have been beyond thrilled with how well behaved Lubbock (Blue Heeler) and Arya (German Shepard) are. Then we adopted our Lola from a shelter a 3 yrs? of age pitbull mix. She had been in the shelter for 3 months and had been found as a stray so no clue what her previous life was like. She wasn't great with walking on leash, would become hyper fixated on our cat and just seemed always on edge. First she went for 1 week of board and train. When we got her back at the end of the week the difference was already night and day. Taking her on walks was easy and enjoyable. Later we sent her for a 3 week board and train. She came home with a new found ability to just be in the room with us and not be in the way, having learned place and best of all she no longer hyper fixates on our cat. She has become the family member we hoped she would.

When the opportunity to get a dog came a little over two years ago, I was not fully onboard. My ask in the compromise was that we get her professionally trained. Shortly after our Goldendoodle (Sedley) arrived, we introduced her to Quinn and the fantastic folks at Quinntastic Dog Training. Despite being an energetic breed, our girl is calm, sweet, well-behaved, knows and listens to commands thanks to Quinn. We can't thank Quinn enough for all the work he has done to make our Sedley the perfect complement to our family.

Quinn at Quinntastic is amazing! He helped us with our Boerboel named “Bo” to socialize him, teach him safe boundaries, and help him become the most amazing dog in the entire world. Bo had never been away from his mom and siblings until 17 weeks, so when we uprooted him and drove from Missouri to Texas with him, it was quite stressful. He was scared of everything and we wanted to make sure that he was well mannered because of his size, jaw strength, and instinct to protect his family. We didn’t want to do anything wrong. Quinn was absolutely amazing at doing all of those things. His communication was fantastic and he is so kind and patient. I can not imagine any one else ever training my dog. Bo is the most amazing dog in the world now. He is our gentle giant!

We have gotten help from Quinn on several occasions to work through issues we have had with our dogs. From scheduling to follow up, it is always a fantastic experience and our dogs took to him immediately! He is extremely knowledgeable and approachable to ask any questions that I have along the way. Most notably he helped us work through a fear of stairs that one of our dogs had. We struggled on our own for 2 months trying to get him to climb the stairs and after only 20 minutes Quinn had him walking up the stairs! After a terrible experience with trainers in the past, it is extremely comforting to have someone that we can trust!
