Quincy Kennel Club

I enrolled in classes at Quincy Kennel Club hoping to get support and guidance for my reactive dog, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. This class was not beginner friendly and definitely not appropriate for reactive dogs. Instead of receiving helpful instruction, I felt judged and uncomfortable throughout the class. The training methods and instruction did not seem professional or well-structured. Skills were rushed, with commands being named almost immediately before dogs even had time to understand the behavior. Even the trainer appeared to struggle with demonstrating skills with her own dog, which did not inspire confidence in the training being taught. Overall, I honestly felt like I could have learned more from beginner YouTube training videos. No meaningful skills were learned, and the environment did not feel supportive or educational. I would not recommend these classes, especially for anyone looking for help with a reactive dog.
