Pup Academy ATX

Jo has worked with my American Bully Peony and me since she was just over a year old. We came to her with practically no training and after our first 1x1 session, I could tell that not only did she know how to do this VERY well but that she was about to change everything for me and my very rambunctious puppy. Peony is my first puppy and I just did not know where to begin. But at our first session, I was able to, for the first time, control Peony on a leash and walk her without being constantly pulled and scared of her running after other animals. Jo has a magic touch with dogs and their owners. I truly needed to be trained as much as Peony. I am so grateful for finding Jo and I highly recommend her to all dog owners.

Jo was incredible with training our 6 month old German Shepard, Iris. Our pup went in as an untrained puppy and came back home as a self controlled dog ( who still has her fair share of fun). Iris was boarded for 2-weeks and Jo updated us daily of goals and tasks along with lots of photos and videos that we greatly appreciated! Iris enjoyed her time with other pups and with Jo and we hope she'll get to visit them all again. We had amazing results and respected Jo's rigor in training us upon homecoming for Iris, it helped immensely. Our family would definitely recommend Jo to anyone considering dog training!

My dog reactive pitbull has already shown massive improvement in just the first 9 sessions with Jo. I had tried dog training before but I still didn’t feel I had a handle on his behavior and with that brought anxiety in which Django picked up on. As soon as Jo comes around Django knows it’s go time. She makes me feel confident that I can finally improve Django’s and my quality of life together! We are starting to introduce him and my other dog, Lila, to co-exist again in the home and I am so excited to see the strides he takes. Highly recommend Jo of Pup Academy!
