I am sorry that this was your experience. This is not what we strive for. We work hard on keeping the facilities clean. The dogs are tired by the end of day so I can see how that may appear as "sad" I would love for you to come by again and see our dogs playing. I assure you that the employee that you described did not intend to be short or rude, some people struggle with some social anxiety and I am sure that is all that was.

This poor kiddo had not been groomed since Jan 2023,the next appointment was a No show. We understand hard times and work with a lot of clients during these hard times when they reach out, even if it's just to show clients the right tools to use on their own. This kiddo was unfortunately severely matted and had to be taken all the way down. The groomer explained this very clearly at drop off. We would love to be able to save every dogs coat but sadly sometimes this is just not possible. I attempted to reason with this client and she was just not willing to hear anything from me. The groomer took great care and time with this sweet Pup and did the best she could with the condition of the dog. It would have been cruel to try to brush this type of matting out of the dog. The dog was healthy and comfortable during her groom with us and when she left, and that is what is most important to us. Thankfully her hair will grow back and if her coat is cared for properly she will be able to keep a longer coat if that is what the customer wants. Please reach out to your groomers when you are not going to be able to have your dog groomed for a long period of time. They can help, like I said even if it's just some education. Many people don't realize that the tools they have at home may not be the right tools for their dog, also bathing a matted dog can make the matting worse. Just reach out, we want to help.
