PumpkinPups Dog Training has been working on behavior and training with dogs and their family's professionally since 2005. Our goal is to coach our clients to help them understand why they dogs do the things they do, and the become as efficient and skilled at meeting their dogs where they are to improve behavior. We work with dog of all ages, breeds, and training needs using modern and humane techniques that are enjoyable for the dog and their guardians. What is your training style?
All of our techniques are based on positive reinforcement and understanding the dog's triggers and motivations for behavior. This helps us teach new more appropriate responses to situations that are problematic for the dog. Our training is structured to be enjoyable for both the dogs and humans, making practice and learning fun and easy to do!

Join Ask The Trainer which we host every Saturday at 11am EST (except some holidays, please check our website for details). It is our FREE zoom Q&A. Here you can ask questions and receive live feedback which can be really helpful while you are waiting to see a trainer. You may also request an emergency consultation for an additional fee.

Group classes that meet for 6 sessions cost $380. Single session group classes range from $65 - $125 depending on the class and the location. Our website has more information about specific classes.

We are so grateful to Viviane! We welcomed our adopted 2 year old dog Marcus off a Southern transport one year ago and the situation felt very dire when he arrived. He was fearful, he had resource guarding, he mouthed, he was anxious. One year later Marcus is a smiley, happy, relaxed boy. He is a beloved member of our family and gets along well with our senior dog and cat. I credit so much of his progress to Viviane who could see past many of his fearful and reactive behaviors and advocated for him when things felt overwhelming. The dog you bring home as a stray will not be the same dog in a year. They can and do become family members and Viviane was a steady, remarkable and caring friend and advocate for Marcus and to us the whole way. I feel so fortunate to cross paths with her. Marcus is too! Thank you, Viviane!

I only attended the "ask the trainer" zoom a few times, but it's been very helpful. Each trainers have a different speciality and they are very knowledge. What I appreciate the most is how they understand dog behaviors and dog psychology. Thanks for awesome advices!
