PumpkinPups Dog Training has been working on behavior and training with dogs and their family's professionally since 2005.
Our goal is to coach our clients to help them understand why they dogs do the things they do, and the become as efficient and skilled at meeting their dogs where they are to improve behavior.
We work with dog of all ages, breeds, and training needs using modern and humane techniques that are enjoyable for the dog and their guardians.
Depending on client needs both private sessions and virtual group and in-person group classes are available.

What is your training style?
All of our techniques are based on positive reinforcement and understanding the dog's triggers and motivations for behavior. This helps us teach new more appropriate responses to situations that are problematic for the dog. Our training is structured to be enjoyable for both the dogs and humans, making practice and learning fun and easy to do!

Join Ask The Trainer which we host every Saturday at 11am EST (except some holidays, please check our website for details). It is our FREE zoom Q&A. Here you can ask questions and receive live feedback which can be really helpful while you are waiting to see a trainer.
You may also request an emergency consultation for an additional fee.

Group classes that meet for 6 sessions cost $380. Single session group classes range from $65 - $125 depending on the class and the location. Our website has more information about specific classes.

Viviane is a truly gifted dog trainer. Indeed, to call her a 'trainer' is too constricting a term. Yes, Viviane will help you train your dog to be a wonderful and collaborative companion in life. However, Viviane's expertise goes well beyond that. She is more of a dog psychologist, applying her knowledge in thoughtful, creative ways with all dogs, and having exceptional talent in working with anxious and/or aggressive dogs. We love and live with a very anxious dog. Viviane has been nothing short of brilliant with her, and a supportive, steady guide in helping us to work with her. If you want to train your dog, or work through an issue around anxiety or aggression with your beloved dog, do not hesitate to give Viviane a call. She is the best.
