FirstBarkSeth worked magic with my unruly, stubborn Bandit. We were on the verge of surrendering him to the animal shelter after aggressive behavior on walks, jumping the fence, and not coming back when called. After the two weeks of boarding school, he came back a happy, obedient dog.

Hi, I'm Seth. I own and operate Prudent K9 Training in Springfield, VA. My services include Board & Train and One-on-One dog training programs. I teach dogs basic obedience, but my passion for dog training is really in behavior modification. I love rehabilitating dogs to teach them a new set of default behaviors and habits that enrich their lives and the lives of their families; my goal being to train well-balanced dogs to maximize their inclusion in their families lives. Former Board & Train clients can board their dogs with me while they are away. Your dogs will experience the same structured environment provided during their Board & Train programs, but without the mandatory focused training exercises!
Dogs enrolled in the Board & Train program stay at my home for a minimum of 2-weeks where they are provided with a structured environment with strong leadership, clear expectations, and consistent consequences for good and bad behavior.

Great training. I sent my sweet wild girl to Prudent K9 Training. Two weeks later I picked up a sweet well mannered little girl. I was so happy to get the benefit of great training without losing her sweet disposition.

He worked with our rescue dog for over a month earlier this year (board/train) and has since boarded her on several occasions. Our pup comes back home each time with more confidence and fewer reactive behaviors in new situations. (She also seems to enjoy being at Seth's and trusts him, which is a HUGE deal for her.) I really appreciate everything Seth's done for us and am thankful how well he's treated our dog, Bluebell!
