We came in with our super anxious dachshund Mochi & Keecia just about changed our lives. She not only trained our dog, but us too (as you slowly learn that’s really the core of it all!) Her patience, kindness, & overall expertise with dogs just shocked us every time. We moved from Denver to Tampa recently & although it’s been a couple months since we’ve seen Keecia, her teachings are still upheld to this day & Mochi has done a complete 180. So although it’s been some time since we’ve attended a training with her, it’d be remiss of me not to write a review. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Keecia and Proper Paws Dog Training are absolutely phenomenal! From the very first session, it was clear that Keecia truly understands dogs and how to bring out the best in them. Her methods are effective, positive, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each dog and their owner. Our dog, Casino, has made incredible progress, and the transformation has been nothing short of amazing. Keecia not only trained Casino but also empowered us with the tools and confidence to continue the training at home. Her patience, professionalism, and passion for what she does really shine through in every interaction. Keecia is a great dog trainer. We did learn a lot during our sessions at her storefront. However we initially needed a trainer for our apartment because that’s where we have the most issues with our pup. When it came to our last 2 sessions that were going to be at our apartment, Keecia’s time management was not great messaging us about being more than 30mins late which we couldn’t accommodate. Also rescheduling with her was a nightmare as she would take a week to respond. We decided to only use the 4 of our 6 sessions.
