My dog barks at everything. Can training help?
Yes! Excessive barking is often rooted in anxiety, not attitude. Our programs focus on building calm, confident behavior at the root—not just stopping the symptom.
Boarding and Daycare drop-off is from 7–8 AM, and pick-up is from 4–6 PM. These times help us maintain a consistent routine for the dogs in our care.
Our training pickup is scheduled into one of our training session windows so we can take the time to go over everything you need to be successful at home.
Do you offer boarding or daycare without doing training first?
Yes, we offer boarding and daycare for well-mannered dogs. We do not take on dogs who are dangerous at this time. Safety and structure are our top priorities.
Can you provide medication if my dog stays with you?
Of course! We have been professionally taking care of dogs for 17yrs, and have experience in the following:
-Geriatric and hospice care
-Care of disabled dogs
-Oral and topical meds
-Injections
-Restraint holds
-Nutrition
Yes! All interactions are carefully supervised, and new dogs are introduced slowly to the group. Groups are arranged by size, age, temperament, and play style. We only allow socialization with dogs that are a good match in temperament and energy. We do not take on aggressive dogs at this time into our groups.
Yes! We work with the entire family, including the kids. We want everyone to be on the same page, and really work hard to get the young ones involved with responsibility/chores, as well as the fun activities with the dog. They are a part of your family too, after all!
Definitely. Whether your dog pulls, lunges, or gets over-excited on walks, we’ll work on calm leash walking using proven, real-life training strategies around distractions.
We work with reactivity regularly.
Absolutely. We specialize in helping families with young children and dogs create safe, respectful relationships. We even offer training geared toward family routines and transitions like bringing home a new baby.

Yes! During training, you will get real-time footage of our training lessons so you can see your dog's progress.
We regularly post on social media pictures and videos of the dogs we are working with.
We even send cute pictures and videos to the owners while their dogs are staying with us!
How far in advance do I need to book for boarding?
We have very limited space for our daycare and boarding services. We typically book out a few weeks in advance, especially during holidays or summer. Early booking ensures your spot and gives us time to prep for your dog’s stay.
Our Board & Train program includes personalized obedience training, daily structured exercise, socialization with other dogs, and real-world outings in Southern Utah. We focus on behavior transformation, not just commands. You’ll also receive go-home lessons and continued support.

Heather is AMAZING!!! My husband and I rescued a pup 3 years ago and boy I tell ya what some of her behavior corks had me flabbergasted. The main thing Reba would do is show way too much excitement towards other dogs that we didnt exist to her. She would freak out in the vehicle and on walks (not in an aggressive way, pure excitement). Heather showed us basic behavior techniques and BAM within the first week of training Reba was kicking butt with what we had learned. Now in the vehicle if Reba is getting excited we tell her "down" and she lays down until we give her the command to get up. Out walking if we pass a barking dog Reba just "hears" the bark, but listens to us as we tell her to come. HUGE IMPROVEMENT! Reba wasn't the only one learning things, we were learning things too. What to do, what not to do, how to praise the job well done. Heather made each session so much fun for not only us as the owner, but for Reba too! Towards the end we learned a game and everytime we play it Reba is the happiest dog, she LOVES it! We've been done for a few weeks and I still talk to Heather. I Keep her posted with how we're still progressing. We definitely recommend Heather!!

My chihuahua mix, Penny, just spent 5 days with Heather. I was a bit concerned only because she’d never been away from me. Heather said she was the best dog 😊. I’m sure it was due in part to the great care she received while there. I’d definitely recommend her & use her again. It also helped ease my mind because I went to meet her & see how her home was set up.

While we lived in southern Utah, Heather worked with our very stubborn standard poodle, Chloe, when Chloe was very young. Heather was patient, thoughtful, and dedicated to Chloe. She helped pave the way for future training when we left Utah. Without Heather’s initial efforts, Chloe’s future training would have been stunted, I believe. Chloe is still stubborn, but has a solid foundation because of Heather. We love Heather and wished we lived closer so she could have continued with Chloe’s training.
