Our time with Courtney was incredibly productive for us and our 11 month old mini Aussiedoodle. She is kind and professional. Her approach for us was from a behavioral perspective. She tuned into our pet and and helped him overcome behavior issues. We saw a big change in him after our time with Courtney. I found it amazing how trusting she made him feel as he can be quite skittish. When we socialize him now he is happier around people and is more responsive to our training as she taught us a very positive approach. Without hesitation we will see her again.

On June 4, 2026, we adopted Sadie, a two-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd mix who had been abandoned at a gas station and later surrendered to the local Humane Society. As expected, she was nervous, anxious, and frightened. Later that day, we realized she was difficult to walk because she pulled hard on the leash and reacted aggressively toward other dogs and people. We wanted the adoption to work, but we knew we needed help. We found Pro Pet Train Inc. in Bunnell, Florida, and scheduled an appointment with Courtney, who is not only a trainer but also an animal behaviorist. She worked with Sadie, my wife, and myself—and I admit, the humans needed the training the most! We saw results right away for all three of us. While we still have some work to do, we truly enjoy these sessions because each one makes us feel calmer and more confident with Sadie, and her with us. We have another appointment soon to build on what we’ve learned and continue our education. We found Courtney to be incredibly professional, obviously skilled, an excellent listener to humans, and a fantastic observer of Sadie. We highly recommend Pro Pet Train Inc. Wonderful experience! Courtney is incredible and our dog loved her from the start. Her ability to connect with your dog and her use of positive reinforcement truly brings out the best in your pup. The property is beautiful and the ability to interact with a variety of other dogs was so helpful for our dog. We have learned so many excellent techniques to continue the good behavior at home. We took in a nervous dog that made us nervous around other dogs and people yet we brought home a confident and relaxed dog. Well worth every penny!
