We take great pride in assisting and helping dogs and their owners. At this point we have trained hundreds, if not thousands of dogs by now, and we apologize that you feel this way. Every dog truly does matter to us. Four years ago, we stopped conducting these four-week, once per week group classes held at another business locations as it taught us some valuable lessons. "Andy was shocked that it was the same dog..." That means that seeing the dog displaying that behavior must have been unexpected and not witnessed during the classes. This would indicate that we never see dogs turn to these behaviors as a result of the training collars. It is unclear if you paid for their services since you stated that you found “two other trainers.” We are, however, happy your dog found the help she needed and is still living her best life. We often say we may not be a good fit for every dog owner, but we believe there is enough good dog trainers out there to help almost every dog whose owner is willing to put in the work at home. We are not shocked that you found trainers that would disagree with our training style. It is easy to find trainers that will speak poorly about another trainer. The old saying is, "The only thing two dog trainers can agree on, is that the third trainer is doing something wrong," is very real in the dog training industry, but we do not possess this attitude. In the short four years since your dog attended these classes our business has blossomed. We are currently booked until 2023, and the only reason we are not booked into 2023 is because we haven’t opened that calendar to the public yet. Now our only training option is a three-week board and train. We no longer offer beginner group classes. This is because teaching owners in a group setting proved to be more difficult than just teaching the dogs, especially if someone had to miss a class, etc. We have since 2018 included once a month group classes with our board and train program graduates to provide supervised socialization and continued maintenance training. We have had great success with our program, and we often get repeat customers who purchase second or third dogs and send them to us. We take great pride in the way we care, stress ourselves out wanting owners to be happy, wake up early, go to bed late, clean up after their dogs, train dogs, play with dogs, love on dogs, build dogs up, set some dogs straight, so on and so forth. To suggest that we do not care about people's dogs is grossly misleading and completely untrue. You can say you’re unhappy, but saying that we don’t care is not the truth. Dogs are our life and livelihood and we love what we do. We fully admit that we may miss phone calls or forget to call people back from time to time. Usually, it is because we are either with the dogs who are here for training or simply human error, not out of disrespect. We are truly sorry your dog didn't turn out exactly the way you had hoped and feel as though we are responsible. We assure you we will lose sleep over this review. We will be thinking about your dog and will take these suggestions and notes to improve our business in the future so we can help even more human and dog relationships. We can assure you, and are confident in saying, we fall in love with EVERY dog we train and have always wanted what was best for each and every dog we come in contact with.
