There’s so much emphasis today on giving dogs mental stimulation, physical exercise, play dates, hiking groups, and tons of early and on-going training, but what is getting lost in all this activity is the notion of emotional rapport. Rapport isn’t trained or learned, it is developed. In the canine mind, rapport emerges by being part of a team.A dog doesn’t work for pride in accomplishment, to earn respect from a leader, praise, rewards or even play or positive experiences. A dog wants to be part of a team. Everything in a dog’s life is secondary to this social drive. If a dog doesn’t have rapport, he has problems.

So glad we did our research and picked this place. If you have a high energy pup that needs some extra love and attention like we do, look no further. The pampered pouch package provided everything and more that our pup needed, and helped us enjoy our vacation that much more knowing he was in good hands. Tami also helped with his jumping and gave us some homework to do with him to reinforce the better behavior and reduce the jumping when he greets people. Lots of land for your pup to explore with them.

Tammy is the best! She made me feel so much better about dog training after a terrible experience elsewhere. She explained everything in detail and was beyond helpful. It's always super easy to get in touch with Tammy and she's always available to help with any questions. We've used her for in home training, day training, and boarding. Saga is such a gentleman thanks to her!

Love the care and attention that Tammy and her staff provide for our mastiff. He can be a handful to others outside the family but under their direction he's come a long way. We trust her in every way and never worry when he's boarded there.
