Premier Pack Dog Training and Behavior Solutions

Very pleased with our experience using Eric with Premier Pack Dog Training. We sent our 6 month old mini Bernadoodle with him for three weeks. We are a busy family of six and don’t have the time to do the dedicated type of training needed for a puppy ourselves. Eric was awesome from a communication perspective before and during the training process. Then for the training itself, our puppy was pretty well behaved when he left but was WAY better when he returned. He came back much calmer, very obedient and can even walk off leash with no problems. We can now take the disciplined training Eric established with him and build upon it easily since that proper foundation as been established. I would definitely recommend. Money well spent!

So impressed! Honestly, I’d say I was definitely skeptical on the success Eric would have with our newly adopted German Shepherd. When we adopted Vader from the humane society, we were told he was 4 years old and that he had wound up with them at least twice. It seemed he would run away from home and this past time his owners didn’t come claim him. So we took him home. He didn’t come when called, listen to his name, had a lot of anxiety, would hyper focus on our cat, and even had climbed our back fence and got into the neighbors yard. Luckily even though he wouldn’t come when called we got him — BUT this was a huge scare and liability. He was new to us. We didn’t know if he does get out would he go after someone’s animal, get hit by a car, etc. Walks were also embarrassing and a nightmare. Vader pulled and barked and cried like no other. My back and knees would hurt from bracing myself and tensing up on each walk. I knew we needed help and after reading reviews on Eric’s program we signed up for a consult. Eric was no pressure, but knew the seriousness of the what ifs with our adopted family member. German shepherds are anxious, intelligent, vocal, and at times stubborn dogs and I was ready for some help. I wanted to know that if I called him, he would listen. I needed to be able to walk him without looking like I had zero control - without him looking like a maniac when he saw another dog or person or bicycle. As we approached the 3 week mark, I was nervous that Vader was going to be the same crazy lovable mess that we sent to Eric. I was stressing a bit that this investment would’ve been a failed attempt at getting him more focused and well behaved. But to my surprise it really was a positive experience. The results were and are impressive!! Vader is soooo good heeling on his walks, breaking with permission and even though he still gets excited at times if someone’s passing us closely, more often than not he’s able to walk by without going nuts, crying, whining etc. Eric teaches you how to use the tools to continue the process.Vader has only been home a week and a half or so but he’s still doing so well!! He places on his cot and even though our cat is a jerk and loves to tempt him and tease him, he really shows control by staying in his place. Life is truly more enjoyable with this training. I really urge anyone contemplating whether or not this investment is worth it - it is. You will find so much more peace and joy in your pet.

Eric trained our handsome great dane, Zakk for 3 weeks. There is a huge improvement in his manners. He walks well on a leash, almost to the point where you think you could drop the leash and he would still follow. Eric also gave us tools to keep Zack in place so that we can have people safely come into our home. Although his parents are still a work in progress we are glad that we chose Premier Pack to get us all on the right track.
