I sent my dog there for four months. I live far away so wasn’t able to visit during training as I had originally planned. I relied on a few phone calls/ text updates from Dale for updates. When we went to pick him up, he wasn’t demonstrating any desire to get birds and left them in the water with Dale throwing clumps of mud at them and eventually leaving them in the water. We just assumed it was a bad day and I took the dog home. After getting the dog home we realized the dog had very little obedience training. Now it’s mid season and I’m spending my limited time training a dog on my own. I understand that dogs can be difficult and some just won’t get it but an experienced trainer would have seen that and communicated it to me so I could have made the call to discontinue training or change methods but instead he kept cashing my checks.
