What an incredible training program and trainers for puppies! We initially enrolled our new puppy in a local training class that taught basic obedience, which was fine—but it wasn’t enough. We really wanted our puppy to be socialized, learn how to play well with other dogs (of all sizes), and be welcoming to new environments. Switching to Practical Obedience was the single best decision we made for his early development. Twice a week, our puppy goes to Practical Obedience daycare & training, where he plays, learns, and develops with a great team of trainers. He comes home exhausted, and we work on reinforcing what they taught him. It’s a total win-win! I also love the social hours; it’s great to be able to take advantage of the playdates with other puppies in the area. Their puppy program isn’t just about obedience; it’s about raising a confident, well-adjusted dog. Highly recommend!

I can not put into words the amount of gratitude I have for Maggie and her entire team! I met a scared, confused, smart and still confident dog at the shelter when he was 7 months old. He had been found as a stray 4 weeks prior and had a few failed meet and greets. I thought no big deal, I've had plenty of needy personal snd foster dogs. Well what we were not prepared for was the inability for anyone to do basic care. I couldn't clean his ears, he had to be sedated for medical handling and he has severe leash frustration. At the urging of a friend I contacted Maggie and I'm so proud to say we can now clean ears, almost able to complete his blood draw, the vet can listen to his heart and lungs now as well! We have seen huge improvements on his leash skills which has allowed us both to enjoy life so much more. Otter has been with me for a little over a year now and if it weren't for Maggie and her team I truly dont know if I would have been able to provide him with the level of care he needed.
