I took my black lab pup to Mark and he did an awesome job getting him trained for upland hunting. 8 years later, my dog still loves to find roosters! I would definitely recommend his training program!
Mark has done a good job with our dogs. He works hard and is a very honest guy. We will gladly continue to use him for our gun dog training.
Mark is very knowledgeable, accommodating and a great trainer and teacher. Having a dog that knows what to do is one thing but having the knowledge needed to handle the dog properly is another. Mark takes the time to ensure the owner knows how to properly handle their dog once they are back home and in the field. Platte Valley will do everything you need and nothing you don’t. Hey, so we started with Mark's awesome Labrador hunt training for our two pups. It was tough leaving Ruby and Jasper for 4 months, but they were amazing and let us visit as often as we wanted. When the hunting season came, the labs were all set. Now, as a travel agent, we always go to Mark's place for boarding. We know our dogs are safe and loved while we're away. We drive all the way from Omaha, which is a bit of a drive, but it's like their second home, and it gives us great peace of mind, so it's totally worth it. If you're looking for training or boarding, we highly recommend Platte Valley Retrievers.
