Platinum Dog Training

Our mystery rescue Lenny has had massive reactivity towards other dogs and we were at our wits end until hiring Michael. By the end of our training package, Lenny was able to stay in a down position at the front of Lowe's watching all sorts of strangers go by, sit on a cart in the same store being pushed around, and is now able to disengage from dog encounters quickly if they even begin at all. His brother Rocky had the opposite problem and wanted to play with anyone or any dog he saw. Now Rocky can walk in a perfect heal position and experience a much calmer walk then he was ever able to prior to training. However, the most valueable thing Michael has given our family is the ability to love, respect, and communicate with our dogs in the way that they needed and we weren't providing. Our dogs picked up on the training quicker than we did, but Michael was incredibly patient every lesson and made sure everyone was on the same page. If you ask me, Michael is charging half of what he should be for the results you will experience hiring him as your dog trainer!

We decided tk go with Platinum Dog Training based on their google reviews, and Michael did not disappoint. Zeus, our Boxer -American Bulldog mix was struggling with meeting new people and listening since we moved homes. The first day of training with Michael and Zeus had already made huge strides in the right direction. We ended up getting our other dog, a rat terrier Chihuahua mix lessons as well. From one dog being able to pull my Wife wherever he wants and the other constantly choking herself trying to run, and by the end of their lessons I can walk both dogs in a perfect heal simultaneously. Michael is so patient with the dogs and owners, he makes is feel seamless and easy. Thank you so much for helping our family understand one another better!

My dog Vinny had been through group training with a different company twice. I hired Michael to work with Vinny after seeing the tremendous change in my son’s dog after being training by Michael. I love Michael’s approach to building a positive relationship with your dog. Vinny loved each lesson and is so proud of himself. He can now confidently go on a walk without barking at other dogs. Vinny no longer feels like he needs to sit at the front windows and bark his head off all day. Vinny is calmer when people come into our house and no longer jumps on them. Vinny even got to go to a party at a park with a lot of kids and was so well behaved. I would not have even considered taking him to that party before his training with Michael. The dynamic in our house has gone from dogs barking all day to calm and I couldn’t be more thankful for Michael.
