PK9 Dog Training Facility!

We took our mal, Riley, to Darius as soon as he was vaccinated. We had gotten him as a puppy and noticed some behavior issues early on. I was so overwhelmed and worried about what I had gotten myself into, especially knowing how big and strong he’d eventually get. So thankful we found Darius! From the first consult Darius was amazing. He took the time to understand what we wanted in a dog and tailored the training to fit that, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. We consulted with another popular trainer in the area, but that experience felt very commercial and salesy. Darius, on the other hand, was thoughtful, listened, and clearly genuinely cared about each individual dog. We also have a GSD mix who we trained at home, and while she’s a great house dog, the difference professional training made for Riley is night and day. Both dogs are well-behaved, but Riley is much more obedient, confident, and better around other dogs. Riley and I both learned so much from working with Darius, and I still use what we learned every day. We’ve since moved out of state and haven’t found another trainer who compares. If you’re considering professional training do yourself a favor and go with Darius. 100% worth it!

I recently adopted Daisy and they told me at the shelter that she was 4 years old. Turns out they were wrong and she's just a little over one. I signed her up for PK-9 Pawsitive Start courses and I've seen an impressive change in just 4 weeks. Within just two weeks, she was already walking on my left side and following rules. I took her to the park, and she didn't jump on anyone and calmly sat between my knees while I was taking to people. I highly recommend Darius and his staff.
