Phil's Dog Training

Phil came to our home to work with our 15week old pit/mix rescue. From the moment he walked in the door, he was teaching us the right way to train. He showed us how to teach the basic commands of “ sit, down, stay, leave it, come” He was very patient with our dog ( and us too!). His training technique is very clear. In just one session our dog was learning to obey the commands. Phil has given us the guidance to now help our puppy master those commands, and will be there if needed to help answer any further questions or provide more sessions. I am so glad we found Phil!!!! The experience we had with Phil was incredible! He is an extremely knowledgeable trainer who has far exceeded expectations. Phil helps with not only commands but also understanding and correcting behavioral issues as well. He takes the time to see what is most needed for your pet and tailors the training to meet those needs. He is extremely pleasant with both owner and pet and explains the intent behind each command or motion, allowing you to grasp the true nature of the lesson. Did you need help understanding something? No problem! Phil is enthusiastic about his job and his pets, and it is clear how that enthusiasm and love translate into his profession. He has no issues repeating parts of the lesson or revisiting motions and commands, so you can solidify his teaching. Phil took our two dogs from completely out of control animals to perfectly behaved angels. His knowledge and expertise exceeded our expectations. He is straightforward and to the point in teaching you how to fix the problems you may be facing with your dogs.
