PetSmart Dog Training

I want to give a huge shoutout to Clay, the Dog Training Instructor at the PetSmart in Lufkin, Texas, for the amazing experience we had in his puppy training class with our dog, Frankie. From day one, Clay was incredibly patient, kind, and professional. His knowledge of dog behavior is impressive, and he explains everything in a way that's easy to understand and apply at home. What really stood out was how much Clay genuinely cares. Frankie absolutely loved going to class each week, and we saw such a difference in his behavior and confidence thanks to Clay’s guidance. If you're considering training at PetSmart, I highly recommend Clay. He’s a fantastic instructor who truly goes above and beyond. Lufkin is lucky to have him!

I have taken my 9 month old dog to beginner training at the Lufkin Petsmart about 3 times now out of the 6 that are within the training package. I have found the info and training really helpful. My dog has learned sit, down, here, leave it, drop it and take it. We walked around the store practicing leash training with not jumping on people, not barking at people or dogs and sitting when asked it on a walk. The instructor is good with animals and if ur pet gets overstimulated they stop things and de-stress.
