PetSmart Dog Training

When I woke up this morning, I saw that my cat was breathing very hard and his body was hot. I quickly picked up the cat and took it to the nearest place (this Petsmart) because I knew I had to act quickly and this was the closest I could get. When I got there, i told the lady at the reception that my cat was barely breathing and was almost suffocating. She then asked how long we had been here I told her that I didn't because I found the cat in a bushes and we haven't been here yet. She then asked how the cat was found?? It doesn't matter what the hell, he's just dying. She went back to ask someone to take care of the cat and came back with the answer that they couldn't take care of him because it was an emergency and they only deal with vaccinations and general examinations. She gave me a list of emergency vet and sent me away. As soon as I got to the car, my cat died in my hands!! I'm asking, is this normal?? How do you see the cat dying but you refuse to help?? I do not recommend this place to anyone, ever!!!
