I took my dog here for a groom, she has been there 3x already. They do a good job at a competitive price, until this groom. When I picked her up, the price was $20.00 more than usual. I asked the groomer if they had a price change since I last went, no…I was up charged because my dog was “naughty”. Not snappy or vicious, just wouldn’t be still, making the groom take longer, setting her back on her appointments. I was surprised and annoyed, I had never heard of this. I don’t think this is right especially since pet smart is her employer and not me. You have to sign paperwork before each groom for a verification of shots required, and general liability. No mention of an hourly wage charge if the dog is not behaving. So, beware of this, if I wasn’t charging this groom and went to pay with cash, I would not have been prepared to pay this.
