PetSmart Dog Training

I went to PetSmart on a Sunday at 9 a.m. Initially, the people at the groomer did not acknowledge the waiting customers outside. Upon dropping off my English Cocker Spaniel, I informed them that he is very fearful of grooming. Skylar C., the person in charge of my dog, assured me they would contact me if he became too anxious. However, just 15 minutes later, I received a call from PetSmart instructing me to pick up my dog as soon as possible. It took me approximately 10 minutes to reach the store, only to find Skylar trimming (shaving) my dog's legs. To my dismay, they handed my dog back with two shaved legs, a shaved belly, and partial shaving on the back of the front legs. I am incredibly frustrated with the service at PetSmart, particularly Skylar C.'s poor job. It's perplexing why my dog was being shaved when I was on my way to pick him up. I have no intention of returning due to the subpar service and apparent lack of grooming knowledge.
