PetSmart Dog Training

Set up grooming appointment for my furbaby. My daughter begged me not to go here bc they treated her like a theif the only time she went. Wouldn't let her dog be with her for fear my daughter wouldn't pay for the service. Who's out here ripping off groomers at PetSmart anyway?? I just needed an in between grooming, and I thought once wouldn't be too bad. It was. They canceled me for BOTH dogs. My 3 lb Yorkie had pulled her hair out from Allergies in one spot so she was a no go. For an allergy spot?? My Shih Tzu was canceled due to mats on her legs. Funny I brought her home and brushed her matted legs with no issues. The groomer was looking for an excuse to cancel. I guess she didn't feel up to grooming or your pets should be cleaned already for the groomer?? I would have rather her cancel than to attempt my babies not wanting to. I'll never be back. Not even for supplies.

They had a bin in the back full of these oversized plush, pillow type dog beds. Said it was on sale for 30% off. I searched for a price and finally lifted up enough of the beds to find a price. 33 bucks w/30% off, nice. I have an elderly pit bull rescue that always needs a new bed because she wears hers to the floor. I don't know about you but I don't have a ton of extra cash these days. Super excited to get to the checkout and it scans as 59.99. Uh-oh, hey can you please check that. Manager is called to do price check and radios she can't find it, can you send him(me) back there. I proceed to show the manager for her to say it was tagged wrong. I asked for it to be sold as marked and started to take a picture. The manager immediately starts to rip the tags off quickly. I asked what the policy is in these situations to which her reply was "We are not going to sell it to you for that regardless of policies" with a less than friendly attitude. My demeanor remaind calm and friendly the entire time. As I walked away, she said something under her breath I couldn't quite hear. Pausing for a moment but deciding to just go back to check out. I assumed the manager would radio the cashier back to say it's a no go. But the cashier just looked at me. Then, with unsolicited attitude, asks "So, what are we doing here?" Manager I suppose didn't radio anything. I told the cashier I would not be purchasing the product at that price. She proceeded to say with the same less that friendly attitude "That's what I'm asking you. Are we taking it off or not." I remained quite and smiled. She took it off and I completed my transaction and set the pillow to the side, out of the way.
