I highly recommend Jill as an exceptional dog trainer. I brought my very anxious “weenie dog” and pit bull mix to her for help with socialization and foundational training, and the results were remarkable. She demonstrated a high level of professionalism, patience, and expertise in working with nervous dogs. Jill has trained all of my dogs over the years, and her knowledge of canine behavior is evident in everything she does. She helped me understand the importance of structure, including appropriate crate training to create a sense of calm and clear boundaries within a multi-dog household. Her ability to assess temperament and thoughtfully group dogs for safe and effective socialization is especially impressive. I trust her completely with my pets and would confidently recommend her to anyone seeking a skilled and knowledgeable dog trainer.

Laura was very patient and understanding with my 8 year old, non-socialized little dog. After our initial consultation and enrolling in the Canine Good Citizen class she has vastly improved! We only took the class for her to learn not to fear new people, noises, other animals, and visual stimulation overload. I had no intention of ever taking the certification test. She did so well we ended up deciding to take the CGC test one week after finishing the class and she passed with flying colors! Hats off to Miss Laura, not only is she great with the dogs, she does a great job on the people too! Me and my pup like to joke that she learned new tricks and I got trained. 😄

Do not use Petland as a whole.... We purchased two puppies from this location. Both ended up being very sick and needing several medications. We were charged $200 for training for each pup. I would never take my dogs back to this location again for anything, much less training. I was told that I can call the warranty department to request a refund for $200 for each pup’s training fee, since my pups were are only brought home a few days ago. I have tried to call the phone number for the warranty department three times now and been hung up on every single time after holding for 45 minutes or more. I asked the store manager how to get a hold of the warranty department and he said that he would have them contact me. I also never heard anything after that.
