Petco is a privately owned company. The company was founded by Walter Evans in 1965 and is headquartered in San Diego, CA. CVC Capital Partners and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board have acquired Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. in a deal worth approximately $4.6bn. Petco, the leading national pet specialty retailer has been recognized by the Ethisphere Institute, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, as a 2017 World's Most Ethical Company. I use their grooming and retail services. I have never been disappointed in the service, nor the quality of the products they sell. I don't train dogs anymore. I let them train me. Counter-intuitive, but wildly effective. But if I did need to train my family member, I'd try them first. Three paws up.
Great friendly customer service.
The worst pet store I've ever been to, they didn't accept me to return something I bought wrong, nor do they force you to keep something that is of no use to you, a disrespect for the customer. And everything is more expensive than another store.
