I can't say enough positive things about Spike, the fantastic dog trainer at the Eastpointe Petco store! Working with him has been an absolute game-changer for both me and my 10 month old puppy, Chicken. From the moment we started our training sessions with Spike, it was evident that he had a true passion for what he does. He radiates enthusiasm and genuine love for dogs, making the learning process not only effective but also incredibly enjoyable. My dog immediately took a liking to him, which was a testament to his friendly and approachable demeanor. Spike's training methods are top-notch. He has an impressive understanding of canine behavior and tailors his approach to meet each dog's unique needs. Whether it was basic obedience, collar/leash walking, or more advanced tricks, Spike was always patient and encouraging. He provided clear instructions and demonstrated techniques, ensuring I understood how to practice with Chicken outside of the training sessions. Moreover, Spike created a positive and nurturing environment during our training sessions. He never used harsh methods or raised his voice, which I truly appreciated. Instead, he focused on positive reinforcement, rewarding good behavior and redirecting undesirable actions. It was evident that he cared deeply for the well-being of the dogs he worked with, making me feel confident that my pup was in the best hands possible. What also sets Spike apart is his willingness to go the extra mile. He was always available to answer any questions or address concerns I had outside of our scheduled sessions. He truly cared about our progress and was genuinely invested in our success. Thanks to Spike's expertise and guidance, my dog's behavior has significantly improved. She's now a well-mannered, confident, and happy pup, and I owe it all to Spike's exceptional training skills.
