I purchased a pretty blue parakeet from the baytown petco a week ago but it passed away. The employee at the baytown location stated I could return the bird at any location to get a new one. Therefore, I came here to this location in kingwood to get a new one as it was the closest to me. The lady working as the cashier wasn't too knowledgeable on the matter so she called the assistant manager to the front. (The lady cashier was nice and friendly though.) The assistant manager said we would have to go an hour back to the location we original for the bird from in order to get a new one because they don't accept returns from other stores due to their policy. I then called the baytown store and asked if I could replace the bird at any store and once again, they said yes. I then went back in and told the assistant manager what the other store had said while they were on the phone and the assistant manager said it's really his store managers rules that they can't. Therefore, in not headed an hour out of my way to the baytown location. Ridiculous customer service, made up rules and employees that do not even know the policies. Waste of gas with a total of 2 hours of drive time for nothing. Very disappointed.

We took our dog to Petco in Kingwood for grooming. We had an unpleasant experience at another groomer. We were very pleased with the job done by Kat at Petco. Kat was friendly and knowledgeable. She was happy to answer all my questions. Our dog looked great when we picked her up. Thank you Kat and Petco! We will definitely be back.
