As a professional dog trainer, my dogs have more physical demands than most, so keeping them healthy and mobile is critical. When our 9-year-old Border Collie started showing signs of hip discomfort—favoring one leg after activity and struggling to jump into the truck—I knew it was time to seek help. After just four sessions of canine aqua treadmill therapy at Pettred, the difference has been incredible. She’s back to running, jumping, and playing like her old self. Even better—she absolutely loves it! Every time we pass by the door, she pulls toward it, excited for her next session. If your dog is recovering from an injury, dealing with hip dysplasia, or just needs pet physical therapy to stay active and pain-free, I can’t recommend Sam and Pettred highly enough. They’ve been a game-changer for us.

Such a wonderful place, the space is amazing and makes you feel welcome immediately on entry. My dog was a bit awkward going in at first but the woman handling my dog, Sam, was so gracious with getting him used to the movements through the water. She was so knowledgeable about the movements and anatomy of my dog and how different things were benefitting him in different ways, It was worth it alone just to get all of that information. My dog has been bouncing around in the days following the session and we can't wait to get back for more! So happy to have a place like this in Westchester finally!!! Thank you Sam!
