and was the training worth the money
Absolutely. But you have to realoze the training is more for you than the dog. Its pnly hour long classes. You need to work with your dog at home and follow the instructions given during the class

I believe it was $175. But that was about a year and a half ago for me

Sue is an excellent dog trainer. My dog, Guinness, and I attend her Tuesday evening class every week and we love it! She provides many effective training tools and thanks to her Guinness is very well behaved and has learned so much. We took Sue’s beginner dog training class as well as the advanced class.

Mr. Beans and I enjoy going to Pet Time Dog Training. Mr. Beans was a little over a year when I started him at Pet Time. He didn't listen well and "staying" was just not part of his make-up. He did "sit" and "down" and had horrid manners. Within the first month of classes I noticed a positive change in Mr. Beans and that he had it in him to become a more lovely pet. Susan has patience, knowledge and many skills to get Mr. Beans on track to being the best dog he can. Not only are we training our dogs, we are training ourselves to be good dog owners. Susan knows exactly how to turn your dog around and get him to do what is expected of him. Did I mention she has patience? The other "students" and their owners in the class add to the enjoyment of the evening as well. Attending regular classes reinforces Mr. Beans and I to be the best team we can be. I'm so happy Jeanne from Islip Animal Hospital recommended Pet Time as "the best" obedience trainer for us. Pet Time certainly is! Thank you.
Would never recommend her. She uses out dated material and advocates spraying bitter apple directly into a dog's mouth!! YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THAT, IT EVEN SAYS IT ON THE BOTTLE!!

I was recommended by my Vet to get behavioral training for my new puppy Cooper. He had a biting problem. Working with Susan is a blessing. Now my puppy finished the beginner class and enjoyed it. He loves Susan and meeting other dogs. He learned so much and is continuing to listen. His biting is calming down and he’s only 4 months old. Now my puppy Cooper will be attending the advanced training class. Lots of practice and time must be put into teaching your dog.
