Pet Peeves Dog Training

Lauren of Pet Peeves Dog Training knows her stuff. I was afraid our rescue dog would have to be surrendered, as he was biting us and others. Breaking skin lightly, at first I thought it was playful; nipping, but I felt as he grew bigger this was going to be a major problem. It did become a bigger problem as he grew. Finally, it was either try an expert trainer or surrender him. I have never surrendered a dog before. We found Lauren of Pet Peeves Dog Training and made the investment in our dog. We felt he deserved us to stick with him and try. It didn't take very long, his fear aggression began to turn into confidence and obedience. The work is ours to do, Lauren is our guide in how to be the best parents for our dog, so he can flourish and we can all be happy and stress free. Guppy graduated today. He doesn't bite us, he isn't afraid to get into the car, he heels well, he sits, stands, lies down, plays and best of all, he listens to us now. He's not reactive to other dogs in an aggressive way, he even ignored one who was aggressive towards him! I am no longer afraid that his fear will cause him to bite someone. He still has some challenges with fear of physical obstacles, but Lauren has given us the tools we need to help him grow even more confident in our leadership and to trust us completely. He has overcome so many of his fears. We can't thank her enough, she saved me from regret, she saved Guppy from being surrendered after his already traumatic beginnings and she showed us how we can have the loving, obedient dog that we wanted. She knows what she's doing. Period. Don't even think about it, if you need a professional dog trainer, you just found the best! Oh and Guppy loves her and we all know dogs know good people! So BONUS, She's an awesome person too!
