Pet Peeves Dog, Cat, Horse and Bird Training

Out of the three opinions I got for behavior modification, Wendy was the only one who assured me that my dogs behavior was not uncommon. She was extremely knowledgeable and was always able to tell me the reasoning behind my dogs behaviors. Everything she did with him was positive and he responded very well. On top of that, once your training is done, she’s always there if you have any issues pop back up which is great!

Wendy worked wonders with our dog, JoJo! Due to the pandemic, we were unable to properly socialize JoJo with other people or dogs when he was younger. Therefore, he became very aggressive toward anyone he would meet and developed several bad behaviors, such as biting, barking incessantly, and had trouble with all-around obedience and walking on a leash. Wendy devised a tailor-made training program that worked! Throughout the entire process, she was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and ultimately able to rid JoJo of all his bad behaviors. JoJo is now able to walk properly on a leash, play with other dogs, and interact with humans without wanting to jump, bite, hump, or bark at them. In addition to training JoJo, Wendy worked with all the humans in the household to correctly teach us how to train and give commands. She worked with us until we were satisfied at the level of obedience achieved. All Wendy's training methods are positive based, and she was able to get to the root causes of JoJo's bad behaviors to help properly correct and train him. We are now able to take our boy out in public and enjoy all the activities we wanted to do when we first wanted to get a dog :) I would highly recommend Wendy to anyone looking for dog training.

We are so happy to have been referred to Pet Peeves! We did a five day board and train program and could not be more pleased! Wendy Kelly is professional and master dog trainer! She came to our home and listened to our needs and went over everything she was going to train our cavapoo puppy. She sent video updates during the five days so we could view our puppy’s progress. When she brought our puppy back it could do all the commands and a trick! Our puppy was calmer and overall better behaved! Wendy also did two follow up meetings with our family to teach our family the training commands and make sure we were prepared to continue at home. We are so happy to have found Wendy and highly recommend her positive dog training program!
