Pet Coach to the Rescue

We recently adopted our dog and noticed some behavior issues resulting from previous abuse. The rescue organization recommended that we contact Shawna for advice. I told Shawna the problems we were experiencing and she gave me some suggestions over the phone. We set up an appointment for her to meet our new dog and evaluate the situation. After our first meeting it was clear that she could help us. She was able to identify the cause of the behavior we were dealing with and gave us effective tips to help us deal with his triggers and build his confidence so that he could feel safe. The training sessions that we have had so far have shown remarkable results. Our dog is more relaxed and looks forward to his training every day. He is happy to show off his skills to Shawna at his next session with her. Shawna has a very common sense approach to training and her advise if followed provides an opportunity for any dog to be successful. My wife and I believe in giving rescue dogs a home whenever possible and if we adopt another dog in the future Shawna will be the first call we make to help us navigate the unknown of our new pet's history. I cannot say enough good things about our experience dealing with her.
