Pet Behavior Help

We have been taking our puppy to socialization class. It is a wonderful time to learn some early skills to make training easier. It’s more than just sit and stay, it is all we needed to get started building a good relationship. The bonus is puppy playtime at the end of class. We also have been taking our older reactive dog to some personal training sessions and our lives have become a lot more peaceful since we started just a few months ago. The trainers here are true dog people and have helped us connect and understand our dogs more than we already were.

Valerie is amazing. I got my dog Peppa basically blind, and was not sure of all the issues and or training she had. She had never learned how to walk on a leash, could not calm herself down, and was dog and people reactive. It's been two months with Val so far and it's night and day. I did not want to put her into long term boarding training because I also needed to be trained, not just Peppa. Valerie dissected Peppa's anxiety, her behavior patterns and taught me how to correct them with confidence. She's been amazing and I would not be where I am without her. Peppa is calmly resting in the living room right now with me, something she couldn't do before training, and I can't wait to see where training takes her. I 100% recommend.

Working with Valerie has been amazing! For a little bit of background my corgi came to her at about 1.5 years old with some progressively getting worse reactivity issues. I tried everything I could on my own but was at my wits end and really needed help. Since then I have worked with her for several months and wow what a difference! I remember crying everyday from taking my dog out for walks but now my dog and I are both building our confidence and bond with Valerie’s help. Valerie is so knowledgeable when it comes to this stuff and really takes the time to explain the why’s when it comes to training. I really recommend her as she has done so much good for my dog and I!!
