Perspective K9 provides a multitude of services ranging from basic grooming care, to private dog training lessons in your home! While dogs are Amanda’s primary focus, any and all species are welcome for basic care!
Amanda has over 14 years of experience handling dogs, as well as many other species ranging from rodents to large exotics. Her primary experience comes from dogs, horses, & pigs, but she truly adores them all!

I've been taking my people-reactive mastiff here for a few months now. I am so happy with the progress we've made at Perspective K9. I went into this honestly looking for someone who was willing to take on a reactive animal, who doesn't like people, for boarding during vacations. Amanda didn't even hesitate to help me with that while other places seemed apprehensive. We started with sessions in getting him comfortable with her, something I really wasn't sure was even possible. Amanda took her time getting him to trust her and now he's obsessed with her and loves getting pets from her. I'm excited to see how he progresses under Amanda's guidance as time goes on. I 100% recommend Perspective K9 and am very pleased.

Amanda is very knowledgeable in her craft. She understands dogs. Benny immediately responded well to her and has learned so much, even in 5 lessons. She works on specific behaviors happening in the home too, if you communicate this. Easy to talk to, learn from and you can tell she loves animals. I have recommended her to others who use her.

Without reservation, I would recommend Amanda to anyone needing help with their dog. She’s very knowledgeable, and the way she handles dogs shows it. I trust very few with my dogs, because they are a handful for anyone.

Amanda has been working with Joey (my chocolate lab) since he was a puppy. He was terrible about biting & jumping. After working with her one on one I started getting compliments from friends about “how much better Joey is behaving.” I credit that to Amanda! Now she checks in regularly and pet sits as needed, she is very trustworthy and Joey loves her!
