Personable Pets Dog Training

We're on our third dog using Personable Pets for training and it's always an amazing experience. Enjoyable for people and dogs, super helpful and we all learn lots of positive ways to have a great dog in the house and on a leash out in public. No harsh methods, I can't say enough good things about the fantastic training they provide. Highly recommended for puppies as well as older dogs like ours that we adopted as an adult.

My wife and I had a very good experience with Personable Pets. Sharon was great to work with. We opted to go with private in-home sessions because of an issue we were having with one of our dogs (8-years old) and our newly acquired Golden Retriever pup that was only 12-weeks old. Older dog would literally go into devil dog mode and attack the pup, I mean with teeth digging in and wanting to kill it. After a couple of sessions, we had these two walking together, running around in the back yard together, and even in the same room without any attacks. We also took the pup to their facility which gave her exposure to other pups for some socializing skills as well as further training. To sum up, as we told Sharon at end of our last session, the training was more for the humans than the dog(s). We learnt some real valuable lessons which we continue to use and will do so going forward. This was worth every penny. Lastly, its nice to know that if we need any help or suggestions that Sharon is just a call away. We highly recommend these folks as they are very knowledgably about the various breeds, offer many solutions, and are very passionate about what they do. We have purchased a second lab for our home, to be a service dog for our daughter. Getting him through the puppy stage has been VERY challenging. Sharon has been able to break it down step by step to help us not only get his energy level balanced, but to make him into a "thinking" dog, and not only a pet. We are so grateful for her patients, positivity and knowledge because Gus-Gus NEEDS her so he will see his first birthday :)
